With the Silent Light collection, I investigated each of the four main characters of The Gospel of Wolves using my fine art as a means of peering into each character’s history.
It was a new way of looking at them and it told me things about each character that I wouldn’t have figured out if I had simply written a bio.
For this exhibition, I assigned each character a ‘medium’ and curated the pieces that told me things about each character.
In order of the their appearances in The Gospel of Wolves, Episode One, here are their mediums:
- Andros Koresh – Printed on Metal – Indicative of his love of Heavy Metal Music
- Lindsey Falco – Printed on Canvas – Indicative of her past as a fine art painter
- Lucien Karr – Printed on Wood – Indicative of his natural talent and his need for planting roots
- Aristotle Troublefield – Printed on Slate Rock – Indicative of his brittle view of himself and his ability to affect changes in his own life.
