The bad news and worse press circling Gloon keeps on coming in.
Now, the question is being asked, “Was it really Trea Shar the Terrasonic who created all those hits for Roster X Records and not Gloon?”
With Gloon gone from Roster X Records the label’s artists aren’t worried at all about losing their premiere producer.
“Man, all this time it was Trea Shar the Terrasonic puttin’ down them beats,” claims BeyBey Rascal. “Gloon just be up in the studio clownin’ and takin’ credit for everything. Now y’all know who put juice in them tracks. We ain’t gotta be silent no mo’.”
No less than five other Roster X Records artists have stepped forward with similar accounts of Gloon doing little more than sitting back and collecting checks while his cousin Trea Shar handled the music.
While there’s no way of confirming the accusations, some of Gloon’s actions have suggested there may be some truth to them.
He has sold all three of his homes and moved into a one bedroom apartment, sold all of his cars except two Chevy Tahoes and liquidated a variety of other assets in a way that gives the impression that he isn’t expecting his previous success to continue.
Currently, Gloon is working with a band that Roster X Records had lost interest in signing earlier this year called Flame of Halos. A band, it must be noted, is not rap.
While I couldn’t reach Gloon directly for comment, my question was passed to him via a friend that grew up with him.
Yesterday, I received an email from Gloon written as you see below:
Kyle Ryder: “Are you afraid that without Trea Shar the Terrasonic’s beats, your career is over?”
Gloon: “Listen to the attached track and you tell me.”
I have my answer. Listen to My Imaginary Foe and I think you’ll have yours as well.
